Future Visions Farms is owned by Steve Smith, his son and daughter in-law Tyler & Jessi Smith, and their daughters Lila Grace & Adabelle. Future Visions Farms began in 1989 as a registered Holstein dairy farm that grew to one of the top BAA herds in the United States. Within the last ten years, the focus has switched to grain production including wheat, soybeans, and white corn. Growing a few acres of sweet corn started as side project for Tyler but has grown into a diversified fresh market vegetable and pumpkin enterprise. We currently supply a network of grocery stores, produce distributers, and local vendors across the East coast. Additionally, we retail our produce off the farm and at local Farmers Markets.
Current crops include white corn, soybeans, wheat. straw, strawberries, tomatoes, squash, cucumbers, cantaloupe, watermelons, peppers, eggplant, garlic, zucchini, green beans, sweet corn varieties, fall squash, and pumpkins. Most recently, we have added cut flowers as well as hanging baskets and mums.
